Students, scholars contribute to development in Africa
Sponsored by the Energy Forum of the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy, Rice students and scholars are visiting Lesotho — a country in southern Africa — to create a cost-effective strategy to support sustainable development and energy. The students were selected from an independent study course and will be accompanied by faculty with an expertise in energy policy, environmental engineering, bioengineering and anthropology.
